Writing Your Family History Book, here is your Final Edit Checklist.

___ Read your work aloud to check for clarity, flow and awkward
sentences.

___ Read your work backwards (from end to beginning) this method really
helps catch spelling and punctuation errors.

___ Check for areas where you may be repeating yourself, edit our
irrelevant sections.

___ Fact check, is all of your information correct.

___ Run spell check and grammar check. (make sure you set your grammar
check settings to include reading level)

___ Double-check all of your name spellings.

___ Stick with one format and apply it through out the entire book for
consistency.
